The Rams had an opportunity to end the 5-game losing streak against the 49ers at home, with a chance to lock up the 2-seed in the NFC and win the division simultaneously. A Cardinals loss still allowed the Rams to clinch the NFC West, but this specific loss to the 49ers seemingly shattered any hope of a deep playoff run and extended our losing streak to Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers to 6 games total (3 years of regular-season games). While there is still plenty of hope to be had, we’ll discuss McVay’s conservative playcalling in big moments, Stafford’s shortcomings, the interior offensive lines bad day, why the defense doesn’t deserve a ton of criticism, and what to expect from the Rams moving forward.
