Las Vegas Raiders Drafted a Big Class Built to Start — And Stats Prove It

The Las Vegas Raiders may have landed one of the most seasoned rookie classes in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus’ “Most Experienced 2025 NFL Draft Classes, Ranked by Snaps Played.” The ranking, based on total offensive and defensive snaps logged in college, places the Raiders second overall—highlighting a clear organizational emphasis on proven production.

In total, the Raiders made 11 selections in the 2025 NFL Draft. At the top of the class is dynamic running back Ashton Jeanty, the No. 6 overall pick, who finished second in Heisman voting and earned a staggering 95.3 PFF grade in 2024. Jeanty, along with second-round wideout Jack Bech, combined for an impressive 3,177 college snaps.

But the depth of experience doesn’t end there. Four Raiders draftees exceeded 2,000 career snaps, giving the team a foundation of battle-tested players. Notably, third-round offensive tackles Caleb Rogers and Charles Grant bring reliability and versatility to the line. Rogers, a five-year contributor at Texas Tech, played 3,709 snaps split between right and left tackle. Grant, a standout from William & Mary, stayed at left tackle throughout his college career and posted a 91.2 grade in 2024.

Sixth-round quarterback Cam Miller may be one of the draft’s most underrated picks. A four-year starter at North Dakota State, Miller logged 3,293 snaps and led the Bison to two FCS national championships while demonstrating strong decision-making and leadership.

While raw traits and upside remain cornerstones of NFL scouting, the Raiders’ 2025 class proves that experience matters. By targeting players with high snap counts and production, Las Vegas has built a rookie group with the readiness to contribute immediately—and the polish to grow into long-term assets.
