In the Rams’ thrilling 29-23 overtime victory against the Indianapolis Colts, Nacua played a pivotal role. However, it was his defining moment in the game that sealed it, as he hauled in a 22-yard touchdown, and marked his first career NFL touchdown.

Nacua’s final stat line was nothing short of spectacular. He ended the game with nine receptions, accumulating a career-high 163 receiving yards. With this performance, he now has an impressive total of 501 receiving yards this season, making him the second-highest yardage earner among all wide receivers in the league. Only Justin Jefferson currently surpasses Nacua’s yardage, so he’s in good company.
Nacua’s incredible rookie journey began with a stellar debut when facing the Seahawks. Nacua made his presence felt by making 10 catches for 119 yards in a game that ended 30-13. This marked the start of his record-breaking journey.
In his second game, Nacua took the league by storm, breaking the NFL single-game record for catches by a rookie. He recorded an astonishing 15 receptions for 147 yards in a game against the San Francisco 49ers. This feat not only shattered a 43-year-old record but also marked him as the first player to achieve more than 10 catches and more than 100 receiving yards in each of his first two NFL games.
