The Rams are currently $29 million under the cap, so he is affordable to them although he won’t be cheap Hunter’s projected contract is somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 years — $22.5m avg/yr with $47.5m guaranteed, $67.5m total.

Pass rusher is still the Rams’ top priority this offseason. They were 25th in pass rush percentage last season. Hunter accounted for 41 pressures (11 more than Aaron Donald) and 16.5 sacks.
