Rams Vs. Eagles Injury Update, Cornerbacks Game Status Update

The Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia are currently engaged in a highly anticipated Sunday Night Football game. As with all football games, injuries are a reality in this game. So far, with the Eagles taking a commanding 27-14 lead, the game status of two players has been officially ruled on.

Rams Cornerback Questionable To Return

Rams cornerback, Cobie Durant left the field midway through the 3rd quarter. On the next drive, he had been ruled questionable to return with muscle cramps.

Durant had been credited with four tackles and one STOP. He had not been targeted in the game. He played 28 snaps at wide corner and seven in the box. Ahkello Witherspoon has taken his place at the outside corner.

Eagles CB Ruled Out

Early in the 3rd quarter Darius Slay took a shot to the head when attempting to make a tackle on Colby Parkinson. He was taken off the field for evaluation for a concussion. Slay was ruled out.

He was replaced by Isaiah Rodgers. He was targeted on the next two Rams passing plays. The result was a 31-yard pass interference call on Rodgers, then a two-yard touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson.

Eagles edge rusher Josh Sweat was also injured in the 3rd quarter with an apparent ankle injury. His status has not been updated.
