All of the debilitating injuries the Los Angeles Rams have suffered has rendered their explosiveness nearly moot. The one bright spot from a production standpoint has been Kyren Williams.
Kyren Williams Extends TD Streak
The struggling offense was given an assist from the defense in the form of Cobie Durant intercepting an errant Gardner Minschew throwaway that set up the offense on the Las Vegas 47. Until this drive the Rams had only run the ball 10 times. They ran it three of four plays this time around. They started the drive with a nine-yard run on first down.
Williams’ 9-game touchdown streak is the longest active streak in the NFL and the fourth-longest streak since 2000 (Shaun Alexander in 2005 and Ezekiel Elliott in 2022).
Williams has picked up 360 yards on 95 carries and is behind only Derrick Henry with seven touchdowns this season.
