Both the Commanders and Falcons are on the precipice of locking in a playoff spot — Washington is looking to solidify their standing as a Wild Card spot, while Atlanta is attempting to win their division and make the postseason for the first time in seven seasons.
According to the New York Times Playoff Picture, the Falcons/Commanders game is the game with higher stakes, as both teams will be in the playoff conversation, while the Cardinals could only play spoiler to the Rams playoff hopes — as Arizona only has a five percent chance of making the playoffs.
If the Rams do get the nod for SNF, it will mark their sixth primetime game of the season, which would tie them with the most in the NFL, with the San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys.
The Los Angeles Rams’ current time slot on Sunday, December 29th is listed as ‘To be Determined.’ The game is set to be played in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
