Back on March 15, when everyone was focused on the offseason, the Los Angeles Rams received some shocking news: Aaron Donald’s retirement. An eight-time All-Pro and three-time Defensive Player of the Year, Donald was one of the greatest football players of all time.
Replacing a player of Donald’s caliber simply isn’t possible, but for now, the Rams believe in Kobie Turner, Jared Verse, and Braden Fiske to help make up for the production they’ll no longer be getting from employee No. 99.
That is unless Donald is willing to return to the gridiron.

Everyone would like to see Aaron Donald return for an 11th season with the LA Rams, especially Cooper Kupp, his teammate since 2017.
According to NFL Network’s Bridget Condon, Kupp says the Rams still have Donald’s locker ready for the 32-year-old defender’s return.
Cooper Kupp told me they still have Aaron Donald's locker up and ready "if he ever wants to come back" and that he's going to keep saying these "backhanded comments in the media…I'm so happy for him… but if he ever wanted to come back he's more than welcome."

There’s been no public indication that Donald is preparing to return to the Rams before the 2024 season kicks off against the Detroit Lions, yet if the imposing defender decides he wants to play, Los Angeles will welcome him with open arms.
