We’re hours away from learning who Les Snead and the rest of the Los Angeles Rams front office is targeting in the 2024 NFL Draft. Yet, since the Rams aren’t set to pick until the 19th selection in the first round, fans will have to wait at least a couple of hours before Los Angeles is on the clock.
That is, unless Snead is eyeing another blockbuster trade. Which, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Rams have been very busy working the trade lines on draft day.
Russini claims the Rams have been “calling to get into the top 10” selections on Thursday night.
The Rams, who haven't picked in the first round since 2016, are calling to get into the top 10, per sources.

The Rams currently hold 11 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, meaning they have plenty of capital to trade up if they can find a willing partner. Otherwise, the Rams hold four picks in the top 99 selections, which should allow them to add at least two to three players expected to fill major roles as rookies.
But what if they can add an elite talent who can compete to win Rookie of the Year as Puka Nacua did a year ago? Picking higher in the draft order should increase the Rams’ odds of landing a blue-chip prospect who can produce right away.

Yet, as Jordan Rodrigue adds, the Rams aren’t only discussing a potential trade-up; they’re also considering dropping from 19.
More on this, per sources…from what I’ve gathered so far this morning, Rams are checking prices on a number of different possible moves – up into the top 10, and down.

To me, staying at 19 would be surprising. https://t.co/BSFOHY2nNz
With needs at edge rusher, cornerback, and in the trenches on both sides of the ball, the Rams could target a number of prospects. Maybe it’s even a shocker, like Brock Bowers or Matthew Stafford’s eventual replacement. Either way, the Rams are considering several options on draft day.
