Los Angeles Rams Have Agreed To Terms With A Key Piece Of 2023’s Offensive Resurgence

The Los Angeles Rams and Demarcus Robinson have agreed to terms on a 1-year deal worth $5 million. Robinson will return for his second season in Los Angeles. He was with the Baltimore Ravens for one season and was on the Kansas City Chiefs from 2016 to 2021

Sean McVay praised Robinson during the season saying, “Demarcus had a good feel for the timing and rhythm and ended up having great back-end-line awareness. He’s a swaggy dude. You know, we got a lot of guys that are bringing some really good stuff to our team. I just love the way that he’s worked … Demarcus deserves a ton of credit and I’m really happy to see him shining.”

Robinson emerged as one of Matthew Stafford‘s favorite targets in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns after not seeing a target in the first eight weeks of last season. In five games he caught for over 300 yards and four touchdowns. He caught for 82 against the New Orleans Saints and 92 against the New York Giants. He caught three passes for 44 yards in the Rams playoff loss against the Detroit Lions.

Despite limited playing time, Robinson was the Rams 4th leading receiver by yards and third-leading in receiving touchdowns. His $5 million salary puts him in the range of 30th-40th highest-paid receivers in the league.
