The Rams once again have a large draft class and this year they currently own their first-round pick. Based on 2023’s draft class cap hits plus a 2.47 percent boost the 11 members of the Rams 2024 rookie class stands to make a total of $11.67 million. This means the Rams have just enough money in the bank to cover the costs incurred by drafting where they currently sit in the draft.

Assuming that this Los Angeles Rams front office will stand with the picks they have rolled in with is a fool’s errand. The Rams have always been active in trading up and back in the draft to achieve their goals. Not only that, there are also contract restructures that can happen to free up more wiggle room. Keep an eye out for a Rob Havenstien restructure depending on how the Draft plays out.
