Los Angeles Rams tight end, Hunter Long, was carted off the field in the second quarter with a knee injury. He is listed as doubtful to return but given the need for a cart, the injury is likely more serious. The injury occurred while Long was in punt protection.

The Rams are already down long-time starter, Tyler Higbee, heading into the game. This leaves the team with Davis Allen and Brycen Hopkins.
Allen came in for Long and promptly made his presence known with a touchdown reception and a 20-yard first-down catch.
It’s become apparent that Brycen Hopkins has been leap-frogged on the Rams depth chart by the newcomer tight ends.
