No sooner than one Super Bowl is complete, fans begin looking forward to the next one. This applies especially to those fans whose team did not make it in the 2020 season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers completed an incredible turnaround and cemented their 2020 season with a Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. As we look ahead to the 2021 campaign, who are the early contenders to win the Super Bowl?

In many ways, all four NFC West teams could be considered serious contenders for the Super Bowl. Having reached the playoffs in 2020, the Los Angeles Rams make an intriguing pick to succeed at Super Bowl LVI. They managed to defeated division rival Seattle Seahawks in the Super Wild-Card Weekend last season and had a 10-6 record, despite inconsistency at the quarterback position.

If you are interested in having a wager on the Rams to win the Super Bowl, check out bettingsider 24. Here you will find a great selection of online bookmakers, with comprehensive reviews of each plus details of current bonuses and promotions. You are likely to discover different odds for the Rams to win the Super Bowl at various online bookmakers, so it is worth looking to get the best value.

For example, at the time of writing, the Los Angeles Rams are on offer at 12/1 with 888Sport to win the Super Bowl whereas, at Bet365, the Rams are available at 14/1. This may not seem a significant difference but it will depend on the amount of money you wish to bet. A €/$/£ 10 bet on the Rams at 12/1 would return a total of €/$/£ 130, and a €/$/£ 10 bet on the Rams at 14/1 would return €/$/£ 150.

However, if you were serious about backing the Rams to win the Super Bowl, you may decide to wager €/$/£ 100. At 12/1, this would produce returns of €/$/£ 1,300 and at 14/1 the return would be €/$/£ 1,500 if successful, making a difference of €/$/£ 200. So, it is worth keeping in mind the different odds available when betting on the Rams to win the Super Bowl.

As things stand, there are not many teams above the LA Rams in the betting odds. As one would expect, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs lead the way, followed by the Green Bay Packers. However, the Rams finished with the No. 1 defense in the league and that is worth remembering ahead of the season NFL season.

In addition, the Rams upgraded under center by trading Jared Goff, two first-round picks, and a third to the Detroit Lions for Matthew Stafford. As highlighted above, the quarterback position caused the Rams problems last season and although Stafford suffered from injuries, he could be the player to make the difference for the Rams. Let us not forget, the LA Rams made the Super Bowl just three years ago and they could be in contention again in 2021.
