Glasnow revealed that the issue was tendinitis, but that his off-season training has progressed smoothly. He has already resumed pitching and expects to be fully prepared for the Dodgers’ season opener in Tokyo on March 18th.

This positive news is a significant boost for the Dodgers, who signed Glasnow to a five-year, $136.5 million contract, anticipating his key role in their rotation. Before his injury, Glasnow showcased his dominance with a 9-5 record, a 3.49 ERA, and an impressive 168 strikeouts in 134 innings pitched.
