The City of Los Angeles has been rocked by wildfires over the last few days, and we are not out of the woods yet.
However, Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman and his wife Chelsea, are making a concerted effort to help the City and its communities heal and rebuild.
Los Angeles Dodgers Star Freddie Freeman Donates $300,000 To LA Fire Relief
According to Noah Camras of Dodger Nation, Freddie and Chelsea Freeman are donating $300,000 to Los Angeles fire relief efforts. Of the total amount, $100,000 will be donated to each of the LAFD Foundation, the Pasadena Fire Department, and the Salvation Army.
Since this tragedy struck, there have been countless accounts of good samaritans and uplifting actions. This is what community is all about, and it is so encouraging to see those who are able to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Earlier today, it was announced that the NFL family would be donating $5 million to organizations to support fire relief.
This included donations from the Kroenke family (Rams), the Chargers, Texans, Vikings, and the NFL Foundation.

Freddie Freeman has embraced the City of Los Angeles since his arrival here, so it is not surprising that he is taking action to help those in need. But regardless, it is still really cool to see, and makes him such a great role model to all those who watch him on the big stage.
