Last night’s game was a fantastic victory for the Los Angeles Chargers, who defeated the Chicago Bears with a final score of 30-13. Several Chargers players delivered strong fantasy performances that likely helped their fantasy owners secure a win this week. Let’s take a look at how each player performed.

Los Angeles Chargers Week 8 Fantasy Recap
Justin Herbert
Firstly, quarterback Justin Herbert had a stellar game, scoring a total of 24 fantasy points. Herbert completed 31 of 40 pass attempts, throwing for 298 yards and three touchdowns. His passing game was strong enough to make him one of the top fantasy quarterbacks this week, and the QB7 on the year. Herbert has been the model of consistency, scoring less than 20 points only once so far this year.
Keenan Allen
Next up is wide receiver Keenan Allen, who had a respectable game with 15 fantasy points. Allen was targeted 10 times, making eight receptions for 69 yards. Although he didn’t score a touchdown, his eight receptions helped boost his PPR score.
Austin Ekeler
Running back Austin Ekeler had a solid game as well, scoring 23 fantasy points. Ekeler had 15 rushing attempts for 29 yards, but made a significant contribution in the passing game, catching seven of eight targets for 94 yards and a touchdown. Ekeler’s versatility as both a rusher and a receiver makes him a valuable fantasy asset. Back from injury in full force, fantasy managers should be stoked about this performance.
Josh Palmer
Wide receiver Josh Palmer had a quiet game, scoring only 5 fantasy points. Palmer was targeted four times, making three receptions for 24 yards. Unfortunately, he didn’t find the end zone, which limited his fantasy score. Palmer has been the bona fide WR2 on this Chargers’ offense without Mike Williams, despite Quentin Johnston‘s presence.
Cameron Dicker
Kicker Cameron Dicker had a good game, scoring 16 fantasy points. Dicker made all of his field goal attempts, putting him at K15 on the season.
Defense
The Chargers’ defense also had a solid performance, scoring 9 fantasy points. They held the Bears to just 13 points and disappointingly only had one sack, but two interceptions. It was a pretty stale performance from the 21st-ranked defense going up against an undrafted rookie.
Joshua Kelley
Lastly, running back Joshua Kelley had a quiet game, scoring only 2 fantasy points. Kelley had six rushing attempts for 21 yards but didn’t contribute in the passing game or find the end zone.
Overall, the Los Angeles Chargers had several players deliver strong fantasy performances in their victory over the Chicago Bears. Fantasy owners who started Herbert, Allen, Ekeler, or Dicker likely came away happy with their decision.
