1. Cleveland Browns – Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma – A bunch of rumors have swirled around and it looks like on draft day the Browns will be taking Baker.

2. New York Giants – Sam Darnold QB USC – Things can get interesting here. Giants reportedly love Darnold and with him sitting here they have a tough decision. He will sit under Eli for a year or two before he takes the reigns.

3. New York Jets – Josh Rosen QB UCLA – I believe it was down to Baker and Rosen for the Jets at 3. Rosen will have an opportunity to start right away with some growing pains. He’s my favorite QB in this draft.

4: Cleveland Browns – Bradley Chubb EDGE NC State – Putting Chubb on the opposite side of Myles Garret will create a very scary tandem. Teams won’t be able to double team either of them for long before they realized it doesn’t work.

5. Trade – Buffalo Bills – Josh Allen QB Wyoming – This was their guy they came up to 12 for. Broncos may have considered Mayfield or Darnold but since they are gone, it’s a good spot to trade back. Bills get their rocket-armed QB for better or for worse

6. Indianapolis Colts – Minkah Fitzpatrick DB Alabama – Colts need help all over the field but with Malik Hooker and Fitzpatrick patrolling the secondary, they fill a much-needed deficiency.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Saquan Barkley RB Penn State – The Bucs may have the worst backfield in the NFL but they quickly fix that problem with the addition of Barkley. He will have a load to carry this year behind a quietly good offensive line.

8. Chicago Bears – Quenton Nelson OG Notre Dame – The past says teams don’t take interior lineman this early. Well, past lineman haven’t been like this guy. He is a mean, violent, mauling guard that isn’t scheme dependent. He fits right into the Bears starting RG spot.

9. San Francisco 49ers – Roquan Smith LB Georgia – Even before the Reuben Foster news came out the Niners needed another LB. Smith is one of the top talents in this draft and will make a huge impact.

10. Oakland Raiders – Mike McGlinchy OT Notre Dame – McGlinchy is the best tackle in this class and with Donald Penn clearly battling father time, they need an upgrade. McGlinchy isn’t the sexy pick but it’s a good pick in an area of need.

11. Trade – Green Bay Packers – Derwin James S Florida State – It was rumored that the Packers wanted to make a move to get an elite talent. In this case, they don’t have to go far to get their guy. James will be able to play all over the field for the Packers.

12. Trade – Denver Broncos – Denzel Ward CB – Ohio State – Broncos are shocked that Ward is still on the board here and this trade looks like a very smart one for Elway. Ward is the best corner in the draft and will replace Aqib Talib.

13. Washington – Vita Vea DT Washington – Washington could use an interior run stuffer and Vea is exactly that. He has crazy quick feet for a man his size. At over 300lbs he can clog up the middle but can also beat interior lineman and create pressure on passing downs.

14. Trade – Miami Dolphins – Tremaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech – Miami needs to fix their LB position and Edmunds can do that for the next decade. He is only 19 and is somewhat raw but he is an athletic freak. With the proper coaching, he could become one of the best ILB in the league.

15. Arizona Cardinals – Connor Williams OT Texas – Arizona misses on the big 4 QBs so they opt to protect the ones they have now. Williams had one very poor game in college against Maryland and that has seemingly hurt his stock. He is still a starting LT with the ability to play guard and RT as well.

16. Baltimore Ravens – Calvin Ridley WR Alabama – Ozzie Newsome loves himself some Alabama players and he just can’t help himself at this pick. Ridley is an extremely smooth and fluid WR but his college production suffered from poor QB play. He has the chance to be more productive in the pros than he was in college.

17. Los Angeles Chargers – Lamar Jackson QB Louisville – It’s been well known that Rivers is on his way out in the next couple years. The Chargers can’t keep putting off finding his replacement. They find an electric player that can succeed in the right situation. I believe this is one he can have some success in.

18. Seattle Seahawks – Harold Landry EDGE Boston College – The Legion of Boom has been dismantled and the Seahawks are looking towards the future. Their future on the defensive line could be Landry. They would be ecstatic if Landry fell to them at 18 and they grab an immediate starter on the defensive side of the ball.

19. Dallas Cowboys – Leighton Vander Esch LB Boise State – There are some injury concerns here but that hasn’t stopped the Cowboys in the past. Vander Esch is a hard-hitting, athletic linebacker that can play both OLB and ILB for the Cowboys.

20. Detroit Lions – Derrius Guice RB LSU – Lions haven’t had a RB they can rely on since Barry Sanders… Guice has an angry running style but it looks beautiful when he runs. Guice is my favorite RB in this draft and the Lions showed last season they want to run the ball more.

21. Cincinnati Bengals – Frank Ragnow OG/C Arkansas – The Bengals could use some help at the guard position and Ragnow gives them a nice starter near the end of the 1st round.

22. Buffalo Bills – Isaiah Wynn G Georgia – This guy is a big mauler and with uncertainty at the guard spot moving forward, the Bills grab a similar player to Richie Incognito.

23. New England Patriots – Rashaan Evans LB Alabama – Evans could become the centerpiece to the middle of that defense alongside Dont’a Hightower. They could make a dangerous 1-2 punch for a division that wants to run the ball.

24. Carolina Panthers – D.J. Moore WR Maryland – Panthers need some weapons and it seems as if they are going in a different direction with the receiving corps after trading Benjamin last season. Moore is a very fluid receiver with strong hands that can run routes from the slot and the outside.

25. Tennessee Titans – Marcus Davenport DE UTSA – Though this isn’t exactly a fit for what the Titans do on defense, but they grab a developmental star with gifted physical traits.

26. Atlanta Falcons – Will Hernandez OG UTEP – Hernandez is another mauler that fits a major need for the Falcons. They have battled injuries on the OL and with the Hernandez pick they can have a very solid starter for years to come.

27. New Orleans Saints – Christian Kirk WR TAMU – The Saints give Drew Brees another weapon to give it another shot before he hangs up the cleats.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers – Ronnie Harrison S Alabama – Steelers would love an athletic LB at this spot but they don’t like anyone here. Harrison is a hard-hitting safety that can play down in the box to help the second level as well.

29. Jacksonville Jaguars – Dallas Goedert TE South Dakota State – This Jaguars team doesn’t have many needs, but adding a weapon to help Bortles is a good decision. Goedert is the best TE in this draft.

30. Minnesota Vikings – Kolton Miller OT UCLA – I personally don’t think that Miller should be in the first round as he has an odd first step but it’s a coachable flaw and he could turn out to be a good pick.

31. New England Patriots – Isaiah Oliver CB Colorado – With the departure of Malcolm Butler, the Pats are looking to get younger in the secondary.

32. Philadelphia Eagles – Malik Jefferson LB Texas – Eagles are another team that don’t have many needs but one area they can improve is at the LB position. Jefferson is a freak athlete that will develop nicely with this defense.
