Penn State has popped up again as an interested party in hiring Lynn as their DC on Matt Campbell’s staff. They tried to poach him last year, but Lynn ultimately chose to stay at SC.

These are not rumors, as Penn State is targeting Lynn (as confirmed by Matt Zenitz of CBS/247), but whether Lynn accepts is another story.

However, we were supposed to have media availability with Lynn (along with defensive players) after practice on Thursday, that availability was canceled and we will now speak with defensive players, along with offensive players and Coach Riley on Friday. Could be a pure coincidence, but would certainly be an ill-time one.

If he does ultimately accept, keeping the rest of the staff together will be extremely important.

At this point, nothing is done yet (to my knowledge). I will continue to update this thread with any updates that I receive.
