We are still waiting on an official announcement of the defensive coordinator hire, but we are still confident that ultimately Gary Patterson will be the hire.

With that, could come some shakeup on the defensive coaching staff. We are hearing that secondary coach Doug Belk will not be retained.

There could be more movement, but this is all that we are hearing for now.

GP will likely coach safeties, unless another coach that he is familiar with is brought in.
