Daily Fantasy Football QB Pick: Kirk Cousins vs. Arizona Cardinals – $6,100

The Vikings are coming off the Bye Week and you can expect head coach Kevin O’Connell to get this offense more acclimated to his scheme and philosophy. While Minnesota hasn’t exactly thrown the ball all over the field, you can bet that Kirk Cousins and his receivers worked at getting into a better rhythm with their week off.

The first opponent that will face the Vikings after the bye is the Arizona Cardinals. While the Cardinals defense put up an impressive effort against the Saints last week, this is not something that will sustain all season long.

Cousins and this passing offense should be able to get what they want against Arizona this coming week. Their offense features more playmakers and can scheme to get open a lot more than an inconsistent Saints offense. Expect Cousins to be a great second-half fantasy football player and it’ll start in this Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Other QB Options: Marcus Mariota vs. Carolina Panthers ($5,400), Tua Tagovailoa vs. Detroit Lions ($6,200)

Daily Fantasy Football RB Pick: Tony Pollard vs. Chicago Bears – $6,100

Ezekiel Elliott is not going to suit up for the game against the Chicago Bears in Week 8. This means Tony Pollard is going to have his fill when it comes to carries in the backfield and should have a fantastic day at the office.

Also, a big thing to know too is that Dak Prescott is being eased back into the starting lineup. While he’s fully healthy, the Dallas coaching staff is keeping things a little contained as he gets used to playing live football again. You can then expect Pollard to be heavily involved in the offense as the Cowboys lean more on the running game in at least another game to get Prescott comfortable in game action again.

Even if the Cowboys decide to air it out with Prescott, the Cowboys still like to run the ball and Pollard is easily going to be one of the top running back performers in Week 8.

Other RB Options: D’Andre Swift vs. Miami Dolphins ($6,800), Saquon Barkley vs. Seattle Seahawks ($8,100)

Daily Fantasy Football WR Pick: Tyler Boyd vs. Cleveland Browns – $5,800

Unfortunate news coming out of Cincinnati as star receiver Ja’Marr Chase is going to miss the next four to six weeks with a hip injury. While this news is not the best for those fantasy football managers in re-draft leagues, this doesn’t affect DFS players in the slightest. This also won’t affect the Bengals offense as much as you’d think either.

Consider that Tee Higgins and now Tyler Boyd are going to step up to be the main receivers in this offense now. This Bengals offense has certainly picked up when it comes to the passing game and this is a great month to start Boyd in your DFS rosters.

The Bengals currently have the fifth most passing yards, the third-highest completion percentage, and are tied for third in the most passing touchdowns in the NFL. This offense is in a passing frenzy right now and Boyd is sure to reap some of those benefits and throw in the fact that he’s priced under $6,000 means he’s a fantastic addition to your Week 8 DFS roster.

Other WR Options: Terry McLaurin vs. Indianapolis Colts ($6,000), DeAndre Hopkins vs. Minnesota Vikings ($7,400)

Daily Fantasy Football TE Pick: Harrison Bryant vs. Cincinnati Bengals – $2,500

This is a lottery ticket type of play. Harrison Bryant is cheaply priced but the involvement of the tight ends in the Browns offense could make Bryant a sneaky good start this week. Before getting injured, David Njoku was second on the team in targets and receiving yards. With Njoku now nursing an ankle injury for a few weeks, all those targets are going to go to Bryant.

He was a pretty good prospect coming out of the 2020 NFL Draft and he’s going to get a chance to showcase his abilities for the next handful of weeks. He gets to face the Cincinnati Bengals in his first start, which has allowed the eighth-most receiving yards to opposing tight ends so far this season.

It’s a risky play for sure, but at this price, you could save big bucks for the rest of your DFS lineup. Take a chance on Bryant and you can definitely benefit from this bargain basement deal here in Week 8.

Other TE Options: Hayden Hurst vs. Cleveland Browns ($3,600), Pat Freiermuth vs. Philadelphia Eagles ($3,900)

Daily Fantasy Football FLEX Pick: Drake London vs. Carolina Panthers – $5,100

It’s no secret that Drake London hasn’t exactly been the dominant receiver that we saw in the first couple of weeks of the season. Through the first three weeks of the season, London was averaging 71 receiving yards and five receptions per game. Over the last four games, London has only been averaging 25 receiving yards and three receptions per game.

This upcoming match-up against the Carolina Panthers is the perfect type of game to break the slump. The Panthers are in full rebuild mode and could be in the business of tanking to get a better pick in the upcoming NFL draft. Also, the Carolina defense is allowing the ninth most fantasy football points to opposing wide receivers.

London has had a bad string of luck these past few weeks, but this game against the Panthers will have this falcon soaring high.

Other FLEX options: D’Onta Foreman vs. Atlanta Falcons ($5,300), Brian Robinson Jr. vs. Indianapolis Colts ($5,600)

Daily Fantasy Football D/ST Pick: Bills vs. Green Bay Packers – $2,900

Don’t overthink this one. The Bills defense is below $3,000 this week and they face the Green Bay Packers coming off a BYE week. The Packers offense is not scaring anyone right now and the Bills defense is putting fear into every offense in the NFL. Hate to sound like a broken record, but this is the first time in his career that Aaron Rodgers is a double-digit underdog.

As this article is being written, the current spread for the game between Buffalo and Green Bay is -11 (courtesy of our friends at BetOnline for the odds). The Packers have the 10th fewest points scored in the league and the Bills are allowing the fewest points in the league. Start Buffalo’s defense this week, enough said.

Other D/ST options: 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams ($3,100), Titans vs. Houston Texans ($3,600)
