Daily Fantasy Football QB Pick: Matthew Stafford vs. Arizona Cardinals – $6,500

Starting this season off, Matthew Stafford hasn’t been the same guy that he was when he was first acquired by the Los Angeles Rams. He’s leading the league in interceptions with five, but he’s tied for ninth in the league with four passing touchdowns. Comparing that to his first two games last season where he had five passing touchdowns and only one interception.

All that said, Stafford has been successful against the Arizona Cardinals when he threw 567 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, and only one interception in two games last season. The Cardinals this season so far have allowed the second most points, the fourth most passing yards, and are tied for the most passing touchdowns allowed. In this divisional game, the Rams are going to look to cement themselves as the frontrunners to win the NFC West division and Stafford will lead that effort.

Other QB options: Jared Goff vs. Minnesota Vikings ($5,800), Marcus Mariota vs. Seattle Seahawks ($5,500)

Daily Fantasy Football RB Pick: Dameon Pierce vs. Chicago Bears – $5,000

So the Houston Texans signed Marlon Mack in the offseason to be one of their leaders in the backfield. They then drafted Dameon Pierce in the 2022 NFL Draft to bolster the running back room further. Then with the superior skill set that Pierce showcased in training camp and preseason, Mack was released and Pierce was named the starting running back in his rookie season. Now through two games, Pierce has not really looked like the same running back we saw in preseason.

This game against the Bears is as good a game as any to finally break-out in the regular season. Chicago is allowing 5.1 yards per carry and is allowing the second most rushing yards in the league so far. Expect a prime performance from Pierce and you won’t have to pay a premium for him this week.

Other RB options: Cordarrelle Patterson vs. Seattle Seahawks ($5,800), Leonard Fournette vs. Green Bay Packers ($6,500)

Daily Fantasy Football WR Pick: Tee Higgins vs. New York Jets – $6,100

Tee Higgins, unfortunately, suffered a concussion in Week 1 and only had two targets. Coming back in Week 2, Higgins was able to lead the team in targets and scored a touchdown to go along with 71 receiving yards. As the Bengals take on the Jets in Week 3, they are looking to get back to their impressive season in 2021 where they ranked top-10 in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

This is a much-needed win as well for Cincinnati as they are currently sitting at 0-2. Higgins should benefit from the coverage that the Jets will shade towards Ja’Marr Chase and he’ll have himself a great game. Insert him into your roster this week and benefit from the resurgence of this Bengals passing offense.

Other WR options: Michael Thomas vs. Carolina Panthers ($5,900), Terry McLaurin vs. Philadelphia Eagles ($6,400)

Daily Fantasy Football TE Pick: George Kittle vs. Denver Broncos ($5,600)

Through two weeks, George Kittle has yet to see the field for the San Francisco 49ers. He’s been nursing a groin injury but all reports indicate that he’s going to be healthy to play this coming Sunday night against the Denver Broncos. The last time that Kittle played the Broncos, he absolutely balled out by totaling 210 receiving yards and a touchdown off of seven receptions.

Heading into Sunday, the Broncos are going to have trouble stopping Kittle. Denver has had trouble stopping opposing tight ends through two weeks as they’ve allowed the seventh most receiving yards and fifth most receptions to tight ends this season. With his return to the 49ers starting lineup, expect Kittle to put on a show on primetime this coming weekend.

Other TE options: Darren Waller vs. Tennessee Titans ($5,800), Dallas Goedert vs. Washington Commanders ($4,700)

Daily Fantasy Football FLEX Pick: Drake London vs. Seattle Seahawks ($5,800)

While lots of fantasy football managers have been complaining about the lack of numbers from Kyle Pitts, the fantasy managers that drafted Drake London are praising the heavens. Through two weeks, London has been living up to the billing of being the eighth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He leads the Falcons in targets, receptions, and receiving yards while also scoring one of the only two receiving touchdowns Atlanta has.

Coming into this game against Seattle, London is going to benefit from playing a weak defense. The Seahawks are allowing the ninth most passing yards and lack any defensive prowess to limit London on Sunday. The price you are paying to roster London this week won’t last forever, so this is a bargain of a deal that you should for sure take advantage of.

Other FLEX options: Tony Pollard vs. New York Giants ($5,800), Juju Smith-Schuster vs. Indianapolis Colts ($5,500)

Daily Fantasy Football D/ST Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers ($3,100)

This game on Sunday is being pegged as Tom Brady versus Aaron Rodgers. Through two weeks of action though, Rodgers and Brady are throwing for less than 225 passing yards per game and have thrown for only two passing touchdowns each. On the flip side, the Buccaneers defense is allowing the fewest points in the league and the fifth-fewest total yards, while also being tied for second for forcing the second most turnovers.

If Tampa Bay wants to win this game on Sunday, they’re going to have to continue being a dominant force on defense to give the Bucs offense enough opportunities to turn things around. This will help with the offense lacking playmakers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin this weekend. Expect Tampa Bay’s defense to do anything they can to keep their team in the game and this could mean lots of fantasy points for your roster.

Other D/ST options: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Indianapolis Colts ($3,700), Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals ($3,400)
