Daily Fantasy Football Optimal Lineup
Daily Fantasy Football QB Pick: Joe Burrow vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($7,000)
The Buccaneers defense has been dealing with injuries in their defense. Vita Vea, Jamel Dean, Carl Nassib, and Genard Avery are all out for Tampa Bay this coming week. This defense needs all the help they can get because they’re facing a potent Bengals passing offense, led by Burrow. While Burrow hasn’t been replicating the numbers he put up last year, he’s still very effective and can easily dissect this Buccaneers defense. Tee Higgins has said he’s healthy to play along with Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd might also suit up.
Regardless, having both Higgins and Chase should make this passing offense a concern for Tampa Bay’s defense. Burrow is averaging 271 passing yards and two passing touchdowns over the course of his last five games. The Buccaneers defense was lit up by rookie Brock Purdy last week and you can expect that Burrow should be able to do the same.
Other QB Options: Aaron Rodgers vs. Los Angeles Rams ($5,800), Dak Prescott vs. Jacksonville Jaguars ($6,200)
Daily Fantasy Football RB Pick: Isaiah Pacheco vs. Houston Texans ($5,900)
Clyde Edwards-Helaire is still on the sidelines with an injury. So this is the time for Pacheco to take over the backfield in the Chiefs offense. Last week, Jerick McKinnon went off but he did it as a pass-catcher. Pacheco is a pure runner and he got his fair share of carries last week to make him a viable option this week too.
He is an absolute must-start. The Houston Texans have a porous run defense. In fact, they are currently allowing the most rushing yards on defense in the NFL. Pacheco is an underrated runner in the league and this game with the Texans will give him an opportunity to break out from being an unknown to being the talk of the league.
Other RB Options: Miles Sanders vs. Chicago Bears ($6,500), Brian Robinson Jr. vs. New York Giants ($5,400)
Daily Fantasy Football WR Pick: Keenan Allen vs. Tennessee Titans – $6,800
Allen has scored at least 15 fantasy football points in DFS in three straight weeks. On top of that, he’s scored over 20 fantasy points in his last two games. Clearly, the Chargers passing attack is more potent when he’s in the lineup and Justin Herbert is sure glad to have him back.
Pricing Allen under $7,000 as well this week is like highway robbery in DFS lineups. The Chargers take on the Tennessee Titans this week, which presents a great opportunity for Allen to continue riding his hot streak. The Titans are allowing the second-most passing yards on defense in the league, along with the second-most passing touchdowns. Allen should be able to dominate against the Tennessee defense this week and you’ll look like a genius if you have him in your starting lineup here in Week 15.
Other WR Options: Terry McLaurin vs. New York Giants ($6,100), Tee Higgins vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($6,900)
Daily Fantasy Football TE Pick: Travis Kelce vs. Houston Texans – $7,800
After going on a scoring outburst from Weeks 10 through 12, Kelce is in the middle of a two-game drought. His numbers have been atypical the past two weeks, but that will all change in this game against the Texans. Not only are the Texans a terrible team but add on the fact that they’re going to be without a good portion of their starters, and this game is going to be over early.
Derek Stingley Jr., Dameon Pierce, Kenyon Green, Brandin Cooks, and Steven Nelson are all out. This is going to present problems for the Texans on both sides of the ball. Overall, this is going to be a one-sided affair for Kansas City and everyone will be involved in the offense to score points. Kelce should have a really nice rebound game against a hapless Houston squad.
Other TE Options: Greg Dulcich vs. Arizona Cardinals ($3,600), Pat Freiermuth vs. Carolina Panthers ($4,500)
Daily Fantasy Football FLEX Pick: Christian Watson vs. Los Angeles Rams – $5,700
It feels like even a BYE week might not keep Watson down from the high he’s riding right now. After being the joke of the team for the early part of the season, he’s been able to get things under control. He is now Aaron Rodgers‘ primary option in the passing offense. Watson has scored seven touchdowns in his last four games and totaled 313 receiving yards.
He’s starting to show why he was drafted so highly in the second round and why so many analysts had him potentially going in the first round this past year. Watson is a dynamic receiver and he’s already proven he can score on the Bears defense. He gets to face them again this coming weekend and should be able to continue to assert himself against opposing teams here in Week 15.
Other FLEX Options: D’Andre Swift vs. New York Jets ($5,700), Chigoziem Okonkwo vs. Los Angeles Chargers ($3,100)
Daily Fantasy Football D/ST Pick: Broncos vs. Arizona Cardinals ($2,700)
While most fantasy football managers are lamenting drafting Denver offensive players this year, that can’t be said about the Broncos defense. They have one of the better units in fantasy football (currently ranked ninth in fantasy football leagues) but unfortunately have been let down by a putrid offense which has led to them having double-digits in the loss column.
This week, the Broncos get to face the Arizona Cardinals without Kyler Murray leading the offense. Colt McCoy will be tasked with starting for the rest of the season and he’s not the best when it comes to leading an offense this season. In three games played, McCoy has taken 11 sacks, fumbled twice, and thrown two interceptions. This week having the Broncos defense in your DFS lineup will allow you to have a low-cost option and also give you a chance to put up good points at the position as well.
Other D/ST Options: Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams ($3,500), Bengals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($3,600)
