Daily Fantasy Football QB Pick: Tua Tagovailoa vs. Cleveland Browns – $6,700

A part of me must hate myself because this choice means that I have to write out Tua’s last name several times but let’s go for it. This price for Tua Tagovailoa is very surprising because there are few if any, teams that are riding a hotter streak than the Miami Dolphins. This is largely due to their explosive offense finding its stride. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are going to get the ball, you know it, I know it, the defense knows it, but it still happens.

Tagovailoa has scored 25+ fantasy football points in his last two games and there’s very little reason to think that won’t continue against a middle-tier Cleveland Browns defense. While the Browns defense did an excellent job against Lamar Jackson two weeks ago, they’ve allowed 230+ yards and multiple touchdowns in two of their last three games. Tua may not blow the top off of your roster again this week but he should be a near virtual lock for 20+ points for the third straight game.

Other QB Options: Jalen Hurts vs. Washington Commanders ($8,000), Justin Fields vs. Detroit Lions ($6,500)

Daily Fantasy Football RB Pick: Josh Jacobs vs. Indianapolis Colts – $7,600

This has “Bounce Back Game” written all over it for Josh Jacobs. The Raiders running back has fallen back to Earth after scoring three straight 30+ point performances just a few weeks ago. Since then, he has yet to reach the 12-point mark. This is indicative of the entire Raiders offense. Which has been underperforming all season long.

However, this great matchup provides the perfect midseason bounce back for Las Vegas and particularly Jacobs. The Colts run defense is ranked 20th in DFS and only held a team to less than 50 rushing yards once this season. Jacobs meanwhile has had 15 or more carries in four of his last five games. Should this game turn into a blowout, his volume will drive his value.

Other RB Options: Alvin Kamara vs. Pittsburgh Steelers ($7,400), Jeff Wilson Jr. vs. Cleveland Browns ($5,500)

Daily Fantasy Football WR Pick: Stefon Diggs vs. Minnesota Vikings – $8,300

An expensive pick but one that should have an even higher price. Stefon Diggs’ drop in value has everything to do with the uncertainty surrounding Josh Allen’s availability. Let me put this very clearly, who is starting at QB for the Bills does not matter when it comes to Diggs. He will be fed the ball regardless. If Case Keenum does end up starting, chances are Diggs’ value actually goes up because he will be leaned on as a crutch.

The Vikings defense is 26th against opposing receivers this year and it’s also worth noting that Diggs has yet to score less than 20 points when playing at home. The matchup is good, and the home advantage is good. Don’t let the quarterback issue scare you away from a top-tier talent at a discount, albeit a small one.

Other WR Options: JuJu Smith-Schuster vs. Jacksonville Jaguars ($6,000), Deebo Samuel vs. Los Angeles Chargers ($7,300)

Daily Fantasy Football TE Pick: Greg Dulcich vs. Tennessee Titans – $3,400

Greg Dulcich has very quickly turned himself into Russell Wilson’s favorite target. It’s naturally hard to trust anyone on the Denver Broncos offense to be dependable but Dulcich is definitely one you can. Since taking over the starting role, he has yet to score below eight points and has seen five or more targets in two of his last three games.

The Broncos and Titans game should be a shootout which means more opportunities for Dulcich to succeed. This is also a price that is $1,500 cheaper than the top five tight end options that have real potential for similar if not slightly lesser impact. Picking him up here allows you to spend elsewhere (For a certain ‘Bills receiver’ perhaps?)

Other TE Options: Dalton Schultz vs. Green Bay Packers ($3,800), Foster Moreau vs. Indianapolis Colts ($3,200)

Daily Fantasy Football FLEX Pick: Khalil Herbert vs. Detroit Lions – $5,900

The Lions defense has to be driving Dan Campbell absolutely up the wall. Their run defense has allowed running backs to score 20 or more fantasy football points against them in six of their eight games so far. No wonder the Lions offense looks so good because they need to constantly score to keep up in the game.

This is perfect news for Khalil Herbert who has definitely lost the starting role to David Montgomery but still maintains a significant role in the offense. This is a pick‘em between Herbert and Montgomery but Herbert has a bigger role in the passing game so I’m giving him the nod here. Herbert’s carry share is slightly concerning but playing a defense that has more holes than Swiss cheese gives him plenty of upside in this matchup.

Other FLEX options: Jamaal Williams vs. Chicago Bears ($5,900), Jerry Jeudy vs. Tennessee Titans ($5,700)

Daily Fantasy Football D/ST Pick: Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams – $2,700

Admittedly, the Cardinals defense is not a great one, some would argue they’re not even an adequate one. News flash: same could be said about the Los Angeles Rams offense. The Rams have allowed opposing defenses to score nine or more points against them five times this season. To make matters even worse, Matthew Stafford is going into the game with a questionable tag as he has been in concussion protocol all week. Even if he does suit up for the game, the quarterback has yet to post over 20 points this season.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals defense is coming off a great game against a talented Seahawks offense. Plus it’s worth noting that the Cardinals have forced a turnover in four straight games now. While they may not be the highest-scoring defense this week, at this price, they’re a good bet if you want to spend elsewhere on your fantasy football roster.

Other D/ST options: Eagles vs. Washington Commanders ($3,700), 49ers vs. Los Angeles Chargers ($3,000)
